Here's a lovely short story about how Home Sweet Home came about:

One cold winters evening back at the end of 2003, Cath was enjoying a romantic meal with her husband Dan. During the meal, the conversation turned to future plans and Cath confessed her dream of being her own boss. She had been inspired whilst working for a cleaning business and felt the industry could be so much better.

She had a vision; her customers would get the best possible service at the best possible price. She would supply local reliable, vetted and insured cleaners.  The business would have an office to support the cleaners and give her customers someone to call when they needed help.

So, although the romantic conversation had fallen flat that evening, Home Sweet Home was born.

In the months and years that have followed the life changing meal, Cath has lovingly grown Home Sweet Home from and idea into one of Edinburgh's market leading cleaning agencies as it is today.

Nearly 20 years down the line Cath says it's still as much joy to run as it was at the start. "It's very rewarding knowing that we are giving people a helping hand, freeing up their time so they can live a more fulfilled life."
